Thomas E. Mahaffey, OD

Dr. Thomas Mahaffey is a graduate of Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He received specialty training in low vision, pediatrics and contact lenses. Dr. Mahaffey served an internship at the Chicago Osteopathic Hospital/Hyde Park in Chicago and at Warren Barr Pavilion of Illinois. There he received experience in primary and advanced care in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Dr. Mahaffey is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. Dr. Mahaffey joined Bond Eye Associates in November of 1999.
He has focused, but not limited his professional attention to contact lens fitting, computer vision and children's vision exams.
Dr. Mahaffey doesn't take good vision for granted. Dr. Mahaffey resides in Goodfield with his wife and two children.
Linda L. Mahaffey, OD

Dr. Mahaffey was born and raised in LaSalle, Illinois. She graduated with Honors from Northern Illinois University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Medicine in 1993, where she was elected to the Gold Key Honor Society for outstanding optometry students.
Dr. Mahaffey completed specialty training in contact lenses, pediatrics and low vision. She served an internship at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital and gained experience in primary and advanced care in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. Dr. Mahaffey also served in Poland with Volunteers of Optometric Services to Humanity.
Dr. Mahaffey is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. She and her husband, Thomas, reside in Goodfield. Dr. Mahaffey plays the violin, is the organist at her church and enjoys traveling and spending her time with their two children.
William I. Bond, M.D.

Dr. William I. Bond specializes in cataract, refractive and laser surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Peoria School of Medicine and advanced eye surgery training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Bond is Board-Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Bond is a member of the faculty at Peoria School of Medicine and is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of refractive surgery and advanced cataract surgical techniques. He is on the editorial staff of the monthly periodical, Eyeworld.
Dr. Bond is the Medical Director of Bond Eye Associates and the Medical Director of Illinois Valley Eye Laser Institute.
Robert S. Baller, M.D.

Dr. Baller has more than 40 years experience in eye care and is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He holds Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Dr. Baller completed his Ophthalmology internship and residency at the University of Iowa. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. Dr. Baller is a clinical associate at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Champaign-Urbana, a past president of the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, past vice-president of the Hawaiian Eye Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the Hawaiian Eye Association.
In 1978, he opened his own practice in Bloomington and has since founded two other eye centers, culminating in the establishment of the Baller EyeCare Center in 1999-2006. Recently, Dr. Baller joined the medical staff of Bond Eye Associates and continues to serve the Bloomington/Normal community at 1228 N. Towanda Avenue (Towanda Plaza) in Bloomington.
Outside of the practice, you may find Dr. Baller in less developed countries providing volunteer eye care or you might find the motorcycle buff cruising the highways on one of his Harley Davidson Special Editions.
Sri Maguluri, M.D.

Dr. Maguluri completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She completed her medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry--New Jersey School of Medicine.
Following a one year internship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Maguluri completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Louisiana State University. She was appointed Chief Resident of Ophthalmology in 2003-2004. She finished her Surgical Retina Fellowship in 2006 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Maguluri has authored numerous abstracts for the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and many of her papers have been published in several Ophthalmology & Retina Journals.
Dr. Maguluri believes that balance is an important part of being a good physician and surgeon. She is committed to doing her part to make the community and the world a better place through volunteerism. She also enjoys the arts, movies and as much family time as she can create.
Dr. Maguluri joined Bond Eye Associates in June of 2007 and sees patients in the Peoria and Bloomington offices.
